I'm studying the Variational Mode Decomposition(VMD) resently.
The author assesses the bandwidth of the modes as H1 norm.(Page 533)
And later expressed as :
The bandwidth is now estimated through the Gaussian smoothness of the demodulated signal,i.e.the squared L2-norm of the gradient.(page 534)
I'm confused with relation between bandwidth and H1 norm.
