calculus - Derivative of a Matrix with respect to a vector

I know how to handle the derivative of a matrix with respect to a vector. I thought it is well-defined.



However, there is a sentence of paper says 'As the Matrix derivative with respect to a vector (set aside to a matrix) is no longer well-defined'. This sentence puzzled me a lot, why is no longer well-defined?
