T/F: If the p-value for a certain test statistic's value is .025, then the null hypothesis will be retained if test statistic is set to α = .02



I know that the z score for α/2 = 2.326 which is greater than .025. However since the question does not specify what the parameter is (mean or variance), is it still valid to retain the null hypothesis using the z score as the decision rule? (thus the answer would be true?)
